Wyoming First Amendment Legislation Lunch
Wyoming First Amendment Legislation Lunch
Date: Wednesday, June 3, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM MT
Location: Wyoming Rib & Chop House, 400 W Lincolnway, Cheyenne, WY 82001
Free speech is one of the most fundamental rights we have, and protecting that right matters here in Wyoming.
Join Americans for Prosperity–Wyoming for lunch and an important conversation about First Amendment legislation expected to be considered during the upcoming legislative session. Attendees will learn more about proposals designed to safeguard Wyomingites from censorship and protect citizens from legal tactics that can be used to silence public participation.
The discussion will include the GRANITE Act, legislation designed to protect Wyomingites from international censorship pressures, as well as legislation addressing strategic lawsuits against public participation, often known as SLAPP lawsuits.
This is a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and connect with others who care about protecting free speech in Wyoming.
Lunch will be provided by AFP-WY.
