Americans for Prosperity-Wyoming is looking for Grassroots Associates across the state to help connect with citizens through direct outreach and conversation.

Grassroots Associates help connect with citizens through direct outreach, door-to-door conversations, surveys, and community engagement.

This part-time canvassing role is employed by Canvass America, the hiring employer for this position. Canvass America handles hiring, onboarding, payroll, and employment administration.

What a Grassroots Associate Does

  • Go door-to-door to conduct citizen contact surveys
  • Speak with residents about issues affecting their communities
  • Gather feedback through structured outreach efforts
  • Help identify and engage supportive citizens
  • Support approved outreach efforts for AFP-aligned political candidates during election season
  • Represent AFP-WY professionally while interacting with the public

Who We’re Looking For

  • Friendly and comfortable talking with new people
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Professional and respectful in public settings
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Interested in public policy, civic engagement, and community outreach
  • Excited to have direct conversations with Wyoming citizens

Americans for Prosperity-Wyoming is currently seeking Grassroots Associates in select communities across the state, with priority interest in:

  • Torrington
  • Cheyenne
  • Casper
  • Rock Springs
  • Evanston
  • Sheridan
  • Buffalo
  • Cody
  • Powell
  • Riverton
  • Lander
  • Gillette
